Traditionally the first three months of the year are the worst for weather, and this year has been no exception! Although we have had snow, as Dylan is showing in the photo, it hasn't lasted too long, the worst of it has been an unusual amount of wind and a terrific amount of rain! However, with Easter just behind us, I hope we are turning a corner into spring...
We've had some brave guests who stayed at the end of February/beginning of March, they were house-hunting, and loved the gîte with the log-burner blazing away when they got in at the end of the day! Sadly they didn't find their dream home this time, but they promised they will be back again for another look.
The village 'floralies' have started, where we all go to buy our summer flowers and vegetables for the potager: next weekend it is the 25th annual Floralie de Tillac, which is one of my favorites in the streets of the medieval town... fingers crossed that the rain holds off!
Come on sun!!
